Scar On Chin?

Hey you guys. As everyone know people suffer from acne scars. So I had three medium sized scars on the side of my chin and it was bothering me so much that I began to scratch them like a dodo. I saw my skin begin to peel and I thought it was a good thing but on the morning I saw this dark large scare or sc that was probably about 2 inches on my chin with red around it. Not only that its very wrinkly and feels so rough. I am freakin out and so self concious because you can see it from a mile away. Im using mederma right now. Do you think that will work? I think I messed up my face and I'm near tears. Help! I wish i had those three smaller spots back.
