How can I stop my mum from 'burrowing' my stuff?

I used to be so happy that I didn't have a sister as I knew I'd have to let her burrow my clothes and stuff but now it doesn't make a difference as my mum burrows all my stuff and it's driving me mad! First it was just my hair clips that she would take without asking but now it's my straighteners and my hair brush and my make-up. It's supposed to be my stuff and she thinks it's ok to just use it without asking. Apart from it being annoying it's just completely unhygienic. Please help me! How do I stop her from using my stuff? I've already tried hiding everything but she just finds it all and uses it anyway!
