Why can girls be so mean as friends when it comes to guys?

Sweetheart, in life you have those who are selfish and those who are absolutely selfless. Unfortunately, your friend has very little consideration towards your feelings and only rings your doorbell, dials your number, or opens her mouth to you whenever she has an issue she wants to vent on. She's one of those people who step into a relationship and automatically convert it into a one way relationship. I'm sure she feels negative about your boyfriend because it has nothing to do with her, thus she feels it isn't important or worth more then a ping glance. Hence why she has nothing nice to say about it or anything else you bring up about him. If I were you, I would give her the Christmas present and just treat her from afar. Don't get too close to people like that because they're just selfish and will only bring you down. Live your life, love who YOU want to love, and most importantly, do what makes YOU feel happy. If your friend isn't as the way i described her, then it's just a girl thing. Most girls, for lack of a better term, tend to drink that "haterade" and never have anything nice to say whenever something good happens in their girl friends life. If she's one of those people, then don't take it too seriously. As for that long distance relationship, if you think you can make it work and you feel you love that man than go for it. Always remember, most people who float in and out of your life do so on a wave of their own issues and insecurities.
